Flu Clinics

GREENFIELD MEDICAL CENTRE FLU VACCINATIONS 20/21 – keeping you safe during COVID 19.

This year our flu clinics will be run differently to previous years. We will NOT have any walk in clinics, all clinics must be pre booked. Full infection control measures are in place for your safety and we ask you to read carefully the important information at the bottom of the page.

If you are over 65 our clinics will be starting from Tuesday September 2nd. Please telephone reception who will offer you an appointment and give you all the necessary information you need to attend. PLEASE NOTE ONLY PHONE for a flu clinic if you are over 65.

Under 65 and with a chronic condition. These clinics are scheduled to start the week beginning 5th October. Please do not ring to book before Friday 2nd October as we will not know our exact delivery date until then. Please check our website regularly for updated information.

Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.

Children aged 2 & years old.If your child is aged 2 or 3 on the 31st August 2020 they will have the childhood influenza nasal spray. These clinics will be run in conjunction with our childhood immunisation clinics which again are pre booked clinics only.
