Confidentiality

All surgery staff are trained to deal with all information in total confidence.  This extends to being unable to pass on even the most apprarent trivial information to friends and relatives.  If you wish information about yourself to be given to a third party, please give your doctor written authority.

Please be assured that all medical records are treated with full confidentiality under The Data Protection Act which also covers computerised records.
